Privacy Policy
Applies to: PhotoLite (相册瘦身)
Effective date: 2026-01-08
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application “PhotoLite” (相册瘦身) (the “App”). The App is provided by ViaTech Lab (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
We take your privacy seriously. The App is designed to help you browse and organize your photo library, and by default we do not upload your photos or videos to
our servers.
If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please stop using the App.
1. Information We Collect
We aim to collect the minimum information necessary. In general, the App does not require account registration and does not actively collect information that directly identifies you.
-
Photo library access (required permission): To provide browsing, filtering, and organizing features, the App may request access to your system photo
library. We access only the photos/videos you allow via system-provided APIs after you grant permission.
-
Local organization data (on-device storage): To improve your experience, the App may store organization-related state on your device (for example:
viewed/marked items and preferences). This data is stored locally and is typically not uploaded to our servers.
-
Automatically collected diagnostics (when issues occur): If the App crashes or becomes unresponsive, your operating system may generate diagnostic
information (such as device model, OS version, and crash logs). How this information is collected or shared depends on your system settings and the distribution
platform policies (for example, iOS/Android system settings or app store policies).
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain core functionality, such as browsing, filtering, and organizing your photo library.
- To save necessary local state so you can continue later.
- To troubleshoot and improve stability when issues occur (if you allow diagnostic sharing through your device settings).
3. How Photo/Video Content Is Handled
The App primarily uses system photo library APIs to display and help you organize photos/videos on your device. The App does not delete your photos or videos without your explicit action.
- If the App provides actions such as “Delete” or moving items to “Recently Deleted”, those actions are performed only when you explicitly trigger them and follow your system photo library mechanisms and permissions.
- We do not upload your photo/video content to our servers for recognition, training, or marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services and Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:
- Legal requirements: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
- Safety and security: To protect our legitimate rights and interests, your safety, or public safety, and to prevent fraud or security risks.
- With your consent: When you provide explicit consent.
If we add analytics, crash reporting, or other third-party SDKs in the future, we will update this page and provide notice through the App or other appropriate channels.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Organization state data is generally stored locally on your device. You can remove it by uninstalling the App or clearing the App’s data.
- If you email us information during support (for example, screenshots or logs), we retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary to address your request, and may delete or anonymize it when no longer needed.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- You can revoke photo library permission at any time in your device settings. Some features may stop working after revocation.
- You can stop using the App and uninstall it to end processing.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. However, due to the complexity of networks and device environments, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact Us
